The clarity we build doesn’t stop at a strategy document, it carries through to messaging, content, websites, and founder presence so that everything works as one coherent system.

Our Founder

I’m Gauri, the founder of Hornbill. I studied computer science engineering, which is an odd fit for brand strategy until you realise that both are fundamentally about systems and clarity. I spent six years building Hornbill alongside a corporate career before going full time in October 2025.

I’ve worked with more than 17 brands, across skincare, architecture, F&B, lifestyle and education industries, from founders building from scratch to established businesses repositioning for growth. The work has spanned brand strategy, verbal identity, social media, website direction and founder positioning, often holding all of it together for the same client simultaneously.

My background in engineering shapes how I approach brand work. I’m drawn to the underlying structure of things: how a brand’s thinking connects to its messaging, how messaging connects to content, how all of it either coheres or slowly drifts apart. That’s the problem I find most interesting, and it’s the one Hornbill is built to solve.
